ABOUT DANIELS HOCKEY
7 years ago, Scott Daniels wanted to find a way to give back to his Indigenous Community that gave him so much – so, he created Daniels Hockey. Scott, alongside his daughter, Sydney, share the same passion for supporting, encouraging, and empowering underserved First Nation, Inuit, and Métis Youth through sport. To date, Scott and Sydney have organized and instructed over 7 educational and developmental hockey camps in Saskatchewan, and each year, they have had to expand their operations to try and keep up with the rapidly growing demand.
When planning larger hockey camps or camps in new locations, the mission remains the same: Daniels Hockey aims to create safe spaces for First Nation, Inuit, and Métis Youth to have fun, be themselves, learn and grow new skills, while feeling supported, encouraged, and empowered by everyone around them.
